Simpatico- Dervish to host major tribute weekend in their native Sligo

It's a tribute to both Dervish and the memory of their late sound engineer Finn Corrigan that so many great bands and top names from the Irish music industry are lining up to perform at a huge tribute to be held in Sligo. Dervish's sound engineer Finn Corrigan died last Christmas as a result of a domestic accident. The tribute, organized and hosted by Finn's colleagues in Dervish, will be one of the biggest events ever held in Sligo.

All proceeds from this event will go to The Finn Corrigan Fund.

Due to the large amount of offers from acts wishing to contribute with their talents, the event will be held over two nights at The Sligo Southern Hotel on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th of November 2003, both concerts commencing at 8:30pm sharp.

Some of the biggest names in traditional and contemporary music will grace the stage of the 2 nights and I imagine there might be a few sessions along the way as well. This should be a fitting tribute to someone who by all account was very well loved and is sadly missed.
