Another episode of Across The Pond airs today at 1pm GMT on my favourite little radio station in the world ICR FM . Broadcasting to the Inishowen Peninsula and parts of Northern ireland, ICR brings you news and commentary from my homeplace in Ireland. It is a great leap forward in technology when I can turn on my computer in the morning and hear local news from my home town thousands of miles away. It is even more special to be able to play music for all my old friends back home, to share some of the great music of America with my Irish friends and the great music of Ireland with my American friends.

Some great music on this week's show includes new tracks from Jim Lauderdale from his CD "Could We Get Any Closer". I also have music from Beoga, Brian Kennedy and Ryan Adams. So something for everyone in the show today I think.
