My old friend Nick Lethert. a man who knows his music and is a great champion for Irish music in the Minneapolis area told me about this great new CD from Sean Egan. And when Nick recommends something, I buy it. Nick writes "Sean Egan just released a CD, "Alone, Raining", a dazzling album of eleven original instrumental compositions played by Sean on piano, clarinet, saxophone, tin whistle, and percussion. |

But since I was a boy I was influenced by music that directly came from one religion or another. I was born into a mostly catholic community and when I was a boy I was in the Buncrana Male Voice choir, which consisted of mostly boys and men from the town who seemed to only sing at Christmas and Easter. |
