The Eclectic Disaster Relief Benefit Concert has just added Mobile, AL singer/songwriter Grayson Capps to its still-forming lineup. Capps and his lively roots/blues band the Stumpknockers bring a decidedly southern swampy, down-home, back porch feel to any venue where they may appear. Capps is a well-traveled road warrior who has played countless concert stages, clubs, and festivals from coast to coast and overseas as well. His independently-released recordings reveal a soulful singer of considerable depth and seasoning who knows his way around the low country of Alabama, Mississippi, and Lousiana as well as the Gulf Coast beaches where he makes his home. Grayson will be travleing through the area on his latest tour, and since he has been so connected with the region, he wanted to particpate in the relief efforts here if at all possible. Capps will play a 30 minute set in the mid-afternoon at the benefit event taking place May 27 in and around the Warehouse in Eclectic, AL. The complete concert schedule is expected to be released Friday, May 20.
