Magnoliafest is one of two festivals run by the great Beth and Randy Judy in Live Oak Florida. Springfest happens every March and Magnoliafest is in October. Over the coming months I will be playing music from some of artists who appear at these festivals as well as news about the festival itself.

John Cutliffe takes a look at the tour dates for Altan over the next few weeks as they make a welcome return to America. Altan are on of the finest Irish traditional bands in the world. The band take in many cities and states on this 4 week tour and play some old favorites like Minneapolis and Boston and also head to fresh pastures like Hawaii. John plays some music from the band's many albums as well as tracks from some solo offerings from the Altan members.

Show from Monday February 18th 2008 Today's show was al about family as I had my 5 year old, Kevin with me and my girfriend's boy Aubrey. Despite the obvious noise is was a fun show. I had music from Conal O'Kane, Natalie MacMaster, John Doyle, Liz Doherty and many more and even had some music recorded very late at night at a session at last year's festiva. Show from February 14th 2008 Today for the live video-cast I took a different approach. Altan started the US tour today and it is also Valentine’s Day so I mixed some love songs with some music from the wonderful Altan. I also went through the many tour dates they will be playing in the US. This was a fun show and I will be recording an audio version of it as well but with only Altan and Altan members providing the music. Check out Altan’s website for all the American dates.
